Do you pay dividends?
Yes. On May 17, 2005, STERIS's board of directors authorized its first-ever quarterly dividend. The Company believes that its ability to consistently generate strong positive cash flow will provide considerable flexibility to return value to shareholders through the initiation of a quarterly dividend, the use of its existing share repurchase authorization, and through ongoing investments to support the Company's long-term strategy for growth.
Does STERIS have a dividend reinvestment plan?
At this time, STERIS does not offer a dividend reinvestment plan.

STERIS Corporation had its Initial Public Offering on June 1, 1992. On November 3, 2015, all shares of STERIS Corporation were converted to shares of STERIS plc in a one-for-one exchange.

STERIS Corporation has had two 2-for-1 stock splits. The first was August 24, 1995 and the second was August 24, 1998. STERIS plc has not split since trading began on November 3, 2015.
Was the company always on the New York Stock Exchange?
No, STERIS became a member of the NYSE on December 1, 1998 with the stock symbol STE. Before that, the Company was listed on NASDAQ with the stock symbol STRL.
